Lyman -- it'll be hard to get a taxi that time of the day from the hotel.

Assuming that we are talking the 12th, then feel free to call and ask for someone to pick you up and bring you over to the barbque at my place. Its only about a mile, but too far too walk on a hot summer eve.... Someone will still be sober I hope

Yes, its the 13th. Better get my dates correct.

Someone who's never had pulled pork...... Maybe I better get a tub of that too...... Hard to describe, basically pork that has been cooked (often steamed or smoked) untill it just falls apart. Its eaten on a bun. Really tasty!

I think Alan is pulling your leg.
He's been married a long time, and rare is the married man who's wife never made him pull pork.

I have a legitimate question about this big do...
>>>>How do you get there?<<<<
Dean (61Merc) and I and our wives were thinking of rolling in to the hotel around supper time on the 13th ... will there be a trail of Breadcrumbs to Dr. Dave's place or something?

Here's a map from the host hotel to the kickoff party. Directions to the host hotel are on the Slick 60's site in the "SlickStock - 08 file" then under "Directions to Slick Stock III"

There will be maps to the kick off party at Davids at the host hotel. There are maps to all the cruises in the book you will receive at Slick Stock.
