In case of Hail or Storms at SlickStock08

Post by cdherman »

Hail can and does happen here on a regular basis. To the best of my knowledge, the hotel does not have any covered parking.

I have spoken with the Director of Security at the Zona Rosa, a large shopping and entertainment complex right south of the hotel.

They have covered parking, normally free to customers. If there is hail in forcast, we can get permission to park trucks there overnight, but I was asked to give him a call in advance so that they would not tow our vehicles, as they do not normally allow overnight parking.

In case of a daytime storm, we can just duck in there, no questions asked.

This is just an FYI. Hope it does not become an issue.
