How about a teardown and reasemble of the trapese linkage?

Best time wins! (it would have to work first ;) )

I am in training for the elbow bending at 4:00 AM in the parking lot event :burp:

Also a sub for Lyman on the 'let's get rid of those pesky brakes' team

A pretty cool competition would indeed be to reassemble a set of drum brakes with autotensioners with no picture and no diagrams.

Problem is, 1) I'd loose 2) I would be bleeding afterwards 3) I'd be embarased that people heard that kind of language from me.

Maybe Karioke is better....

Carb rebuilding is definitely out. You really do need to rebuild carbs in a quiet place, while sober!!!!

international carb rebuilding team does it's best work under pressure.
we would require an off ramp and vehicles wizzing by to do our best work

I was not able to attend this year but already have a savings plan for 2010.

Just a thought: If the average slick weighs around 5000 lbs and 25 people brought an extra 200 lbs of parts, then we could actually assemble a complete slick in the parking lot. Imagine a complete slick as a raffle prize..........just dreaming...........Ross

Not sure if we'd actually build it or a big fight breaks out during assembly over someone saying, "Well this is how Mercury did it in Canada..." and then it would just become a bloody mess and big Pat in his overalls would step in and wrestle 4 Canucks at once and then parts would get scattered, Kid would have to replace all of the ripped SlickStock IV t-shirts. Of course, I would get photos of all of it, including all of the Canucks getting launched into the cornfield... would be fun though!

Im a lover not a fighter
just tell me what size engine this truck is going to have
i will build my valve cover race car accordingly
then instead of taking my truck apart to build a racer
i will take my racer apart to build a truck
