Calling all new HOUSTON AREA members. Fall Slickfest.

Post by Uncle Skip »

I know there's a lot of new members in the general Houston area.
So, FYI, I think we're going to plan a meet and greet, general BS bbq some time this fall when things cool off.
If you live in the Houston area and would like to join up with us, drop me a line with your e-mail and I'll make sure you get on the list.
Anyone else who might like to attend no matter where you're from, drop me a line too. More is the merrier.
Hope to see you all some time in late October or November.
Let me hear from you.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Man O man.......Little Debbie can really cook, save yore appetites as you will want thirds and fourths!!

I like my general BS bbq not to spicy as it tends to burn my gizzard.

If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

Keep us posted on how many are coming! Possible Mini slickstock? We'll be truckless, none road worthy yet, but we may bring pix of the projects.

Kenny.
No excuse.
I was in Coffeyville, Kansas for three weeks and might have to go back. 8)
Seriously, I understand, but we are going to try to plan it around the most popular date the members recommend so we can get the most guys. Looking forward to meeting you and all the rest of the new members in the area.
See you around the end of October, I hope.

Skip, this looks like a great opportunity to meet a lot of the other "Slick Lovers" in the greater Houston area. My wife and I planning to attend also.
