The Location and the Dates so far

Post by Kid »

I am not sure on a exact location at this time but it will be in the Des Moines Iowa area. I am looking for a Hotel that will have a seperate parking area that we can take over like we did at the last 2 Events.

The itinerary will be posted as we make plans but I guarentee you will have a great time. This has become a International event with members from Canada and Australia attending the last one and making plans to attend this one also. you never know where Members will be traveling from as we have people coming from all over the U.S. with and without trucks just to meet up and have a great time.

We will have the Official check in date of Aug 26, 2010 and it will run through Aug 29, 2010. We will have early check in starting on Aug 23rd and 24th for members who want to get there early and meet up with old freinds. I know there will be a record number of Members who will attend and I am sure there will also be a record number of trucks there also. If you have thought about making the trip this will be the time to start making plans and starting a travel fund.

We hope to see all our old freinds there and are hoping we get to meet alot of new ones there also..........................Darrell

Check out the Drury hotel on the west side. I stayed there on my way home very nice hotel. They also have a very nice breakfast buffet. It cost me $59.99 that night in a meeting room with a large meeting table & chairs. Just ask for the billboard price of $59.99

that doesn't seem too far when you put it that way. I can't believe I had a finished truck and now it is all in pieces again. Keep that $%&%$ counter off for a little while,

I sure hope I can make it. Maybe there will be a MAC convoy..

I enjoy camping so I did a search near Des Moines, this place looks quite nice and the rates look attractive also.

Maybe a couple nights of camping and a couple nights at the SS hotel.
