I thought about putting some beauty rings on to see what that would look like on the rims until I can save up the cash for new wheels.

I almost suggested that! What about painting the rings the argent color to match the caps rather than chrome?

OORR LOL, silver centers and rings, like you mentioned, with copper rims.

Chrome steelies would also look nice painted copper. leave the centers chrome and buy chrome rings.

Got the 351 in and I have been taking short trips around town to make sure I have the bugs run out before I venture too far from home. I don't know if I will ever turn on the radio again, that rumble from the flow masters is like music to my ears!

I had to put it on to run the water pump. I am going to put new pulleys and fan on this winter, I just wanted to get it back on the road and get some miles in before snow.

There's nothing like the sound of Flowmasters. They are much better than most of the music that is out today.

Yep the single belt pulley's for the 1970 up 302's and 351W's are rare, only found one set in the junkyard so far.

very nice it looks great. I can see why you wanted to get it on the road and have fun.

what are you thinking of doing with the stock radio?

laters Kelly

Before I got the truck my dad painted the wheels to match the body, used chrome beauty rings, and baby moons. I took the baby moons off to see what it looked like.

Wow your truck looks great! I already got rid of the old radio, it did not seem to work at all but another guy wanted it for the knobs. i see you are from Henderson, NV. I drive over once in a while to visit friends when I go to Vegas.
