Grandpa's 65 "Ol Blue"

Post by Mellvis »

I've had this truck since about 1998 or 1999, but now I have the resources and place to get started on it. I sold my 66 F100, so I'm truckless untill this hits the road.

It was a beautiful truck until the old man left it in the weeds from about 1984 until I got it and left it in the weeds until last spring. Lots to be done, wish me luck!

I hope I always stay crazy, because I know if I ever become sane, it will drive me crazy.

Michelle, you might already know, but......someone stole one of your axles!

Is this the same chassis or have you swapped it? It looks good both ways. Great job.

She had the back part of a late International air ride frame and axle grafted on. So clean if she didn't point it out you couldn't see the welds.

I built the Jeep next to my truck for a customer. We took it down to the frame and everything is custom. It took 19 months so I had to put my truck on hold. Thank God it is done!
I will post more pics of my slick as i find them.
