Removing choke cable knob

How do you remove the black choke cable knob. I don’t see any Allen screws or any way to release it.

Polished 15" 5x5 1/2 Crager style wheels

I am in Georgia and am looking for some Crager style wheels 15x8 5x5 1/2. Does anyone know of a good brand and dealer/company that won't break the bank that sells these types. I don't like the polished/gunmetal style, I prefer the entire wheel be polished. TIA

Re: Cowl seal at back end of the hood on 1966

Thank you. One more question please. Does it but up to the cowl or is there a gap between the seal and the cowl?

Cowl seal at back end of the hood on 1966

Could someone please tell me which way the rubber strip on the cowl at the back of the hood goes? one edge is flat and the other edge has a sort of "C" notch in it.

Thanks

1966 F100 Inner Fender stock components 352 engine

Could one of you possibly post a stock picture of the items on the left and right inner fenders, I know solenoid goes on passenger side but mine was taken apart and I don't know what all goes on them and where. I have some brackets and i think the washer pump and the voltage regulator. Not sure what...

Rear drive shaft too short

I have a 66 longbed and me and my son took the bed off and we changed the leaf spring shackles. The new replacements looked just like the old original ones. I took the drive shafts out and put in new universal joints. I had the truck painted and the other day I was putting the drive shafts back in. ...

STRIPPING PAINT FROM PLASTIC PARTS

Last weekend I was watching one of those power block shows and the guy showed a way to strip paint from plastic parts. He said he learned it as a kid removing paint from plastic models. He used brake fluid. He put the parts in a container and just poured the brake fluid over a plastic car grill. He ...

I would get a set of speaker baffles. They are made of foam and fairly cheap. You may even be able to make your own. I googled speaker baffles and here is one site that came up. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9441_Metra-81-4300.html I'm no sound expert but i would think that it would help the s...

effie about how long do you reckon it took to put your front end back together? did you drill small alignment holes or make reference marks or just do the trial and error fit. I have my front end off and i took it apart piece by piece and i did not make any reference marks. In the process of strippi...

I served 22 years in the Georgia Air National Guard in the communications field. I was a guard bum for about 5 years. For those that don't know what that is, it is a person who pretty much serves on as much active duty as they can per year, usually being unemployed. I also work civil service at Robi...
