Hood hinge studs broken. need help.

is there any tricks to getting behind the firewall to install new studs? the driver side hood hinge had nuts spot welded to the back of the fire wall. they broke loose. I don't not have a welder to weld new nuts in, so I was hoping to be able to run some studs from behind the firewall. but I can fin...

paul, I have two yellow wires. one goes into the connector on the switch. and the other is a female connector going no where. I swapped the old 66 neutral safety switch into the new column. wired it up/. that should fix that right? also the two red wires I think go to the brake switch in the engine ...

So there is no definite years that the colors are all the same? I am really stumped as I got no power at all coming past the firewall. Any ideas to get some juice in there so I can confirm my lights are wired properly? This is turning out to be a nightmare.

Does anyone know the wire color codes for the 70's column? are they the same as the 66? also I can not get the truck to start.
