The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

I'd like to have it but I think I just came up with another 66 LWB with a 352. That 600 would make a great custom hauler.

^ Agreed.... add a slide back bed and it seems like it would make a good car hauler. 8)

I don't mean to look for 'rust holes in the seller's story' but --- from the ad,

"...this unit has spent its life going a couple miles down the road and drilling a few holes then back to the yard and wait a few months to do the same. It has 35,992 miles it has not been over."

Let me see; If it has nearly 36K miles and it's 45 years old, then the math says it logged 800 miles/year. Every
'few months' is in my mind every other month. So 6 trips/year; which is 800/6 = 133 miles per trip.

So 'a couple miles down the road' is 66 miles one way?

Hmmm.... what else is a bit stretched? Buyer beware.......

I take everything said in one of those adds with a large cupfull of salt. Many of the people posting these adds don't think we can figure out the odometer doesn't show anything over 99,999.9 miles, and starts all over again. QQuite likely the track does not have very many miles on it, which isn't neccesarily a good thing. Means it's sat a lot, and that isn't good for an engine to bew cold started when all the oil has drained out of the engine.

Hard to tell mileage on that one, but this one seems to be a real low mileage original F 600 on Ebay # 150413855944. The interior is super clean with original '63 candy stripe upholstry.

Looks to be a nice one. As far as I can see from the pics.
As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.
