New guy with hot rod 63
Just thought I would do a little run down on myself. I'm new here but on just about every traditional hot rod forum there is. I'm 24 and a husband and father first, Hotrodder and GEARHEAD second.
I've owned my 63 F100 since I was 15, and am almost 25, its seen several stages from stock to mud truck and now it is getting a lowered suspension and a wild little 302. Engine will be around 10:1 compression, small chamber 1963 289 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves, high nodular iron crank, hypereutectic H.O. style flat top 4 valve relief pistons, stock "small bolt" rods, Comp BIG MUTHA THUMPR cam, comp valve springs, comp lifters, comp rocker arms, comp pushrods, tunnel ram single 4 intake with spread bore 750 carb.

Welcome from Georgia. It sounds like you and your truck have been through many changes. It sounds like you are building an all out race motor, what other changes are you planning for the drivetrain?
I am guessing by your screename you must also be a Kurt Vonnegut fan. on of my favorite quotes from him is "We must be careful about what we pretend to be."

As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.

Thanks for all the kind welcomes. My screen name is also my shop name, it is derived from my last name of Schlotterbeck (pronounced slaughterback). The truck is in pieces but I will try to find one of the before pics and get some engine pics soon. No MAJOR mods will be done to the driveline, just a well built automatic with stall converter and a 9 inch with limited slip in the rear.
