Nice car, who's is it? A guy up the road from me has one, among a dozen mustangs. He does this crazy thing with them called driving.
So good lookin' that I've attracted an international stalker.

Funny question. Its mine and there is a pic of it in my profile that has been here longer than you have. It has a few brothers also so I have to take turns DRIVING them. Stirred around and found a picture of it being driven. A little weak but I didn't take it. Best I could do on short notice.

You don't make any seance. I say something about people buying cars and just parking them. You say you are one of those people, then you go out of your way to show you driving it. Kinda silly...

It easy to figure out..... I have some that are parked and some that are driven. This one is driven but rarely (3300 miles). You have to have some fun with them! I know the car that started this thread and I would have loved to have been able to trade him mine just for the mileage difference that doesn't matter to the new owner. Heck I wouldn't even know about that car if it wasn't for Al Gore inventing the freaking internet!

I'd rather have a 10 year old car with 40-60K on it than one with a couple thousand.

One time I was stationed with a guy that bought a 97 Mustang GT with 5 speed with 60K on it. He babied it and wouldn't take it over 65. One time I asked him how he thought the POs drove it. He said the salesman told him it was driven the way he does....I just giggled and walked away.

I own a bunch of cars and trucks, I drive the crap out of all of them. The most expensive one I've ever bought I've driven the most. My 03 diesel had 2 miles on the clock and a 47.5K sticker, now it has 386K on it. I like to drive...

yeah, but here we are talking about 1 of 300 production race cars. it's not a gt or 45k $ f350. cars like these are investments. unless you just like starting fires with 100$s.

I've read every reply and agree with EVERYONE! However, I just helped a good friend get admitted to a Mens Homeless Shelter tonight. We should be thankful for what we have, and appreciate and realize that there are others who will NEVER have anything. We truly can't take it with us and if you can afford it, HAVE A BALL WITH IT! There will be another limited run of mustang to come along, that will be just as rare. Who knows, he could be sleeping it off at a buddys house to avoid smashing it. I'm a mustang guy by the way, 68 inline six, and 67 frame off 289. I'd drive it till the wheels fell off, and rebuild it. IMHO

Why? That makes no sense to me. So you're saying that if you went to buy a used F350 and the trucks were identical except one had 50K miles and one had 3K miles....... You would pick the one with 50K? :dontknow:

Coledaddy, sorry to hear about your day. Couldn't have been easy.

On the up side though, Ford has had two special runs since. They built 50 2009 and 50 2010 Cobra Jets. These were only given ID tags and no title. They came just as you see them slicks and all! :thumright: :woohoo: :rocker:

If it's 10 years old, yes. One of the worst things you can do to a vehicle is let it sit.

Unifan, it's very cool that you are lucky enough to have one of those.
I bet it's a riot to get it out on a track too.
I am miserably uncomfortable in the 99-04 Mustangs - I like them but can't drive them. My back deals me fits inside of ten minutes. Same with 65-66s
I am fine in 67-73s, 79-93s (although the seats are better 83 up), and in the 05-09s.
1964 F 100 - I am going to do "something" with it.......

Maybe it's a clone. The Cobra R style of wheel seems to be a pretty common upgrade on 1994-2004 Mustangs, and I'm quite sure the wing, front lip, and hood are available in aftermarket reproductions. Plus all we have is a low-resolution photo originally posted (on a Camaro forum, no less) by someone claiming his girlfriend's crazy uncle bought the car when he was off his meds. The backstory has just enough detail to be credible though. I can't say for sure, just throwing it out there!

If it is a true R then it should be driven hard on a track, as it was intended to be. Kudos to UNIFAN for doing so. It would be a shame to see a Cobra R crunched by a minivan while trying to make a left turn into the mall parking lot in icy conditions, or wrapped around a lightpost because the driver dropped his latte in his lap while trying to downshift. Remember, no cupholders!

But it's not my money so I'm not going to worry too much about it.
