Hello everyone, I am wondering if someone could help me out with a measurement.
I'm putting a new floor in my box but don't have a tailgate at the moment. And I want to make sure I have everything good and square before welding new crossmembers/steel into the box.
The measurement I am interested in is the width between the box rails, at the tailgate.
Im going to tack a crossmember in place of the tailgate to keep it square during the reconstruction process.
come on guys someone must have their slick and a measuring tape handy!
Don't meanb to pressure anyone, but pLanning on some box welding tomorrow so that measurement would be great.

Thanks alot Brian As I remember my box is like 65" between the rails at the back, i'll have to measure again when I am off work.
Youis a long box, and my box is short and off a 64. Youd think they would be the same width.
Again thanks!
I have two un-molested beds from 65 F100's. They both measure 65" dead up. Good luck on the bed work. I need to start on my bed sometime in the near future.
Awesome guys, 65" side to side between the rails with the tailgate closed. Im going to set it to that tomorrow and zap in an old piece of angle iron to hold it straight while I install the new crossmembers.
Thanks for taking the time guys, really takes some guess work out of my job!
