Only wish I had more motivation to finish it.
I would have not "thought" I would like a stripe like that on a Slick but I LOVE it!
Thanks Greg!

I just didn't want the same look.

The hood is painted the same + I put a scoop on it, (82 T-bird I think)

Stripe also goes over front header panel and valence below grill.

Heres a couple of pics, I don't have one of the completed hood after I painted it.

Ed,
I think your scoop is from a 79-82 Mustang or Capri,
looks just like one with the grill piece removed.

I've just got the one... '66 F100 4x4, CC, Styleside, LWB, 352 (soon to be replaced by a 445 cubic inch stroker engine).

Thanks for the well wishes me friends. Yeah, an honest man I guess. That'll be qutie a chore. She shares my madness for the slicks which is great. She also shares my madness for the RC helis. Has two of her own and is getting another one for Christmas. I think we'll make it fine.

betfm-Like the paint a lot. If one is to make a slick look racy it needs to be done with class and you've done that.

Greg,
You are right. I have CRS, scoop is Mustang, actually I bought 2 from a yard sale.
This one was missing the grill so I wanted to make my own design, I'll have to get a picture of the completed hood.

didn't know they made Slicks in 5 (1905?) but hey if you have two of them!
As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.
