Here we go guys. The first string of pics. These are right after I got it home last week.

No "Show Truck" for sure. Just a daily driver "Hot Rod". Got a lot of things worked out like Engine (Big Block), Free Paint Job, Wheels and Tires (Steelies w/baby moons and trim ring).

Going Satin Black with a clean engine bay and interior. Simple stuff. Oh yeah, plenty of sheet metal work that I am actually looking forward to.

Be sure to go through the brakes. Even correcting the stock ones will go a long way.

For only a few bucks you can replace the hoses. They collect water and swell over time. The ones I took off my 63 wouldn't even pass any fluid trough them!

1) Make it safe.
2) Make it fun.
3) Make it yours!

All new brakes for sure. Going with disc on the front and drums on the rear. I want to keep the straight axle so I will need some guidance on how to go through the conversion.

All of the parts are there. The guy who owned it previously started with a body on restoration project and has it pretty straight. Unfortunately he was unable to see it through.

I crawled all over this truck and can only find one spot of serious cancer on the driver side floor pan and it's only the size of a half dollar. Everything else is surface and the frame is in great shape.

I saw that one on the Atlanta craigslist. Good price! Is the grill steel or aluminum? Thought about contacting the guy to see if he would just sell the grill. Good find.

The grill is steel. I am lucky I found this one for this price.

Of course two is better than one. That was a good deal on that truck I had considered a couple of times grabbing it but to many projects already. It appeared that he had all the trim a good grill and bumpers also did you get them? Im over in Paulding county and have many spare parts if you need something let me know.

All of the trim was there and in great shape.
