There was an earlier thread about that truck. Someone was saying the Ranger didn't come in that color and was looking for you to chime in.

I totally missed that one. No, the Ranger never had a blue interior.

There was a another Ranger on Ebay of the same color in Colorado a year or two back andI think the interior color was blue also. May be the same truck just restored? The truck I remmember was in very good condtion.

It is a very nice truck. In tough times it seems like a lot of money, but I think it would cost at least that much to restore one....

It has to be worth the money... Do you realize how rare a truck that Ford didn't build truly is... A one of none... can't get much rarer that that...

Although Ford may have never made one, that doesnt mean that the selling dealership didnt add the accessories on the truck and sell it as a "California Special" package. Dealers still do it to this day and with so much more aftermarket items to choose from it can drive a partsman crazy when something goes wrong and the customer swears the thing came from the factory like that

Yeah, it isn't like a Shelby Mustang where 130% of all the cars made still exist! LOL Hawkrod

It sure seems like it when I go to shows! LOL It really is amazing how many guys also try and pass off clones as original. BTW, if every Shelby did still exist then, yes, there would be more than originally made because as often happens, wrecks have been cut up and then rebuilt. It has been documented that two cars have the exact same serial number because two guys each found half of the car and "rebuilt" it. Hawkrod

That truck is identical to the first and only Ranger I ever saw for about 25 years.

Someone once told me they weren't built with blue seats, even though i remembered the seats being blue. Now I can call BS.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

That means it originally came with a Blue interior but a BENCH seat. not a original bucket seat truck.
