After my little ride around the country taking pictures of slicks I decided to go out and paint my wheels, started out outside and the breeze was more than I wanted to deal with so I ended up in my new shop, now I have a nice big area with red overspray just outside the cardboard I had laid down. Breaking her in nice I guess.
Here's a picture of how they'll look, 8" on the back 7" on the front.
Trying to decide what tire to run now, I'd like wide whitewall but they are expensive!!

I purchased them all from Summit Racing, they are all sold seperately, I had to pick out which trim ring I wanted and then the center cap. The caps are 1942 Ford car caps and the trim rings are 15" ribbed rings.
For all 4 wheels, trim rings and center caps I was just barely over $500 and they shipped for free and it only took them about 3 days to arrive. Then I had to buy the paint and ACE, no idea what it cost but you can imagine.

Thanks for sharing the info , when I bought my truck it had white wagon wheels w/ chrome trim rings. I found a new set of Cragar 340 series on Craigslist for $250 which included the caps and lugs. I really like painted wheels with chrome rings and caps. Your wheels look great ! Nice job !

Boy that's no kidding, it took me two weeks to figure it all out. I'm ordering some bullet center caps and bullet lug nuts for the factory wheels, I'm going to repaint them black once I get them off and then probably put snow tires on them for winter and use the bullets and chrome bullet lug nuts as soon as someone tells me if the lug nut size is 1/2" or 7/16", I have no idea, guess I could go measure them if that's what the size is based on?
