Lund Sunvisor on a Slick

Post by Michelle »

Has anyone on the board ever seen a Lund sunvisor on a 61 to 66 pick up? For the uninformed Lund made sunvisors for Fords and other make trucks. My LTL has a Lund on it. Lund made visors for the CLT model Fords also, I was thinking that possibly Lund had made one to fit a Slick or that someone may have cut one down to fit a Slick at some point in time.

I was looking for something like this. If anyone has the scoop on whether or not they were made for our trucks I'd appreciate the info

Try the H.A.M.B. for "old school" accessories. Or.....maybe one of the lowrider sites.

I agree, a old school steel visor world look sweet on a slick, the cheesy fiberglass ones belong on 80s and 90s trucks....
So good lookin' that I've attracted an international stalker.

Rest in Peace Bumpstick....I miss ya man.

i have a hard enough time seeing the stop lights in my old slick. i would have to stop half a block back if i had one of those on my truck.

I wonder how the front 250mm/ 10ins of a Slick bonnet/ hood!, would go as a starting place to make a sun visor!

Alan: I saw a pic of one where the guy did just that. (I was about to chime in & suggest it)
At least the shape would flow with the lines of the truck.
Too bad our slicks like to rot out in the nose...
