NEED a FUEL PUMP for my 64 292 Y block

Post by LRS30 »

My local parts store looked at me like I had 4 heads when I asked for a Fuel pump for my 292. And I searched Dennis Carpenter and all they show is up to 63 any ideas if it will work? Or will any other Ford fuel pump cross over?

Bought mine at the local oriellys. Another good source for parts is rock auto. Only drawback is their online only.

The pump for the '63 should work. If you don't need 100% original, FE pumps work great on most Y blocks. Compare the arms before you install, to verify.
