I now have all my Slicks in one place, on my property.

After spending several months getting my new home shop remodeled (demoing the maze of rooms some PO had built inside (2X6 walls with fire-rated sheetrock, with pieces delivered to the dump a pickup load at a time), I finally got my butt in gear and moved from my rented shop in West Monroe.
Thanks to my Chevy-loving good friend, (my Ford-loving friend bailed on me) who worked with me tirelessly for two weeks to complete the move. Here's a shot of one of the more challenging tasks (moving a Uni mounted on a rotisserie) which turned out to be remarkably easy as a result of proper planning.

My hauler and my winch setup worked out well and as I had hoped for after all my planning.
Although I had hoped to be able to move a little bit at a time and get things organized, it didn't happen as I was anxious to avoid paying another month's rent.
Pretty good job for a couple of "old farts" (He's 67 and I'm 70 now) although I did get a couple of young guys from the halfway house to help move workbenches, body parts, etc. that we so cumbersome that they had to be hand-carried onto the trailer on one Sunday. Three trips.
I don't have as much inside storage as I did before, so I'm having to figure out what to put where to keep it somewhat protected. Didn't realize I had accumulated so much stuff. Plans are to eventually put a carport-type cover over the 20X50 pad where the four Slicks are parked.
It's great to have everything in one place and just a short walk away.
