What’s it worth? Thinking about selling. To many projects. Not enough time.
1963 California built F100 Unibody long bed. Running 390 4BBL, C6, 69 Mustang floor shifter, recently cleaned radiator, new carburetor. Straight, but many colors, needs bodywork and complete paint. This truck will drive anywhere.
Parts: Rust free, straight unibody doors. Newly rechromed front bumper. Rechromed 63 rear sport bumper. 2 straight 1962 grilles, one freshly painted white. Complete rust free frame, only surface rust from being outside (I was going to do all body work on the truck, do an IFS and c-notch on the spare frame and then assemble.) Clean, scratch free rear glass. Manual steering column. NOS front windshield weatherstrip. NOS door weatherstrips. Complete window weatherstip/felt, division bar kits from Dennis Carpenter, DC vent wing rubbers. New DC round exterior mirrors, spare radiator, 1962 3-spoke black steering wheel, unibody tailgate hardware (latches, hinges, supports), hood latch, pair of spare straight tight hood hinges, front rock guard, etc.
I’m sure I’m forgetting something. I have a lot of parts. I’m not looking to separate any of this, it all must go as a packaged sale. I’m just kicking it around to see what it’s worth. I don’t need the money but I know I should sell it because I’ll never get around to finishing it. I’ve owned this truck since 1984, it’ll be hard to see it go.

Think it would be really difficult to put a price on it. Maybe a picture of the truck and parts would help. Since you surely know what you think it's worth, why not throw out a price and see what the response it?

Sorry, I can't agree with that logic, he wants 4K for everything and has not sold it because it isn't worth it. Just because he is asking 4K for a project does not make somebodies truck worth more. I want 10K for my project so by your logic his is worth more? The truck is in So Cal so it is more common that most places in this country and thus worth less where it is. If it was a So Cal truck being offered in NJ it would be worth at least $1500 more than where it is and there would probably more interested parties. Here in So Cal it is probably worth anywhere from $1500 to $3000 but it is a very fluid market and a long bed makes it worth less and being a project can make it tough to sell. The short bed big back window I bought in Yucca Valley cost me $300 on eBay because of where it was. On the east coast I got $4500 for it and only put wheels and tires on it. I agree with Hawkrod I wouldnt give more than $2000.00 for the one Brian listed with the motor and tranny . I have a longbed BBW in the back yard I gave $50.00 for granted the front and back windows were busted out of it . that truck also sat in the backyard till I found a shortbed to build and the longbed became a Donor truck .

in reality in todays market its worth what you are willing to take from the buyer.
Hawkrod makes a good point about prices and location though. i see everyday what is considered rough out here that would be worth a lot in the rustbelt states.supply and demand.

personally given the choice between 2 trucks one long ,one short ,of the same mechanical and body condition side by side at the same price i would be taking the longbed every time.
