$23,366.00! Oh, wait, you won't have to pay a buyer's fee on this one; make it 26 flat

YEP - it's a head turner for sure....but I'll be surprised if it'll goes over 25K$.....

Did all the '63 cab interiors continue the lower dash paint color over onto the doors like the white on this truck?

I wonder why they didn't put white on the tailgate letters?

I don't see many of these ol' Slicks outfitted with mudflaps any more.... they'll help keep the stone pecks to a minimum...

My 63 has the dash white wrap around paint all the way past the door handles. I have never seen it done like that, however.

Im only buying if I can lowball and steal it. I bid $8500 and was the high bidder for a couple hours.

Im adding a double carport and a covered patio on the house before winter. The garage is overflowing and the dogs are tired of being in the rain. There goes most of my new Slick money.

Hope you get it. Beautiful truck. I'd change the wheels/hubcaps out to the correct ones, do the tailgate letters (which are in my file cabinet) and paint or replace the valve covers the "correct color" and drive/show the the heck out of ilt. Really think it's a nicer truck than the B-J Slick went for $25. Bet it'll go for over $15.

Edit: Think the dash to door treatment was like that on the 63's. My F250 is like that. My 63 Uni has been through a "redneck hot rod" treatment by a PO, so can' say for sure on it. Note the emblem on the right door. That's "exclusive" to 63's AIUI. I'd say they either started with an almost perfect truck to begin with or someone did a lot of hard and nicely done work. The bed is a good example.

Have to agree with you.
What's up with the way they undercoated underneath? Looks suspicious to me or was that the way they were done?

Seems like someone could get a good truck. Be interesting to see what it goes for.
New owner's gonna have to get a vent pull cable and knob looks like on the pass side

To me, this is vastly superior to the BJ vehicle! The quality of the work appears excellent instead of H/A, there is no appearance of a ghastly tu-tone which is obviously of questionable quality compared to the rest of the exterior paint; as well as possibly done due to repairs. It has the original radio, items which should have been disassembled for painting appear to have been, and the overall result appears commendable. Ignoring the failure to restore the instrument bezel and heater boxes, and replace the missing vent cable, and tires and wheels which to me are totally out of place, it is about as good as they come.

Checked my 61 Uni this afternoon (chrome grill/BBW, I just love typing that ) and also has the "darts". Didn't remember that. Must have been a 61-63 thing. The little emblem is almost assuredly a 63 only thing.

I like the wheels and caps. The white mirrors seem out of place since everything else is bright. How could you ever haul anything in that bed?

The current bid is $8600 with 4 days to go.

That would mean my 62 must have at least one 63 door on it as my passenger door has that emblem :D.

Nice truck. Love the simplicity of the interior. Hope you prevail in the auction so we get to see more of this truck. Good luck.

Well Rick, that's possible as you never know for sure what's happened to our trucks in the past, but it could be (however unlikely that is) that I don't know what I'm talking about

On a rubber mat or carpet.

The wheels and hubcaps ARE "purdy" and would be appropriate (to be correct) for a 66, but not for a 63.

Gerald, the passenger door emblem may be a late 62 and all of 63. My uncle had a new late 62 bought after the 63's had been out about a month. It had the emblem. The truck never had a body part changed. Not a straight piece of sheet metal on it from bumping hay racks, but they never replaced any body parts. Thanks, Lyman.

I see the auction was ended: "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."

Did someone on here buy it?

The auction pointed to a re-listing; which has also ended. eBay mobile offers little info.
