ONCE Again doing my Christmas shopping

Post by 6166 Junkyard Dog »

one thing I do enjoy this time of year is going Christmas shopping out west,, This trip was fun, going across Texas 2 weeks ago in the ice empty truck/trailer, which we bypass most of till the I-10/20 split weather and then got fun in the 20's to 40's even in Las Vegas 29degrees stayed in one Motel with hardly any heat good thing we had extra blankets in truck

OH Yes it's harder and harder to find trucks that are worth bringing back, a lot out there but a truck that used to be 500 is now 2500,,, price gone up quality gone down,,,, I did look at a truck in Tucson up on E.Pima by the fire station little 6 cylinder price was good truck had very little cancer little body damage but had no room for it and storage was the killer on deal,, I did see he sold it for less what he did tell me,,,,

Same here, Tom,(or other members, for that matter; if you ever need it; I have an abundance of secure storage room; just getting a little short on inside room!

Tim bumper is a no go,, buckled in the middle

Greg this is what we have done which I believe no other company has done is, we have sold cabs/trucks etc. and then out them in a storage place out west, his name ill be on the invoice, send the customer the key for his storage building and then at time allows him to go pick it up,, last one we did he lived in Oregon needed a cab , told him we can get it to Las Vegas put in storage and 3 months later he would pick it up, said great told his wife road trip,, U-Haul I see has better area the rates are little higher than public storage but not all public storages have big enough areas or hard to get into
