Yep, I'll have to agree; upon a second look, the lack of a protruding axle hub at the rear wheel & a flatter hub cap kinda looks like a 9" or a DANA 44, not a DANA 60 with floating axle bearings.

Barnietruck, that one threw me too. Then I came to the conclusion a few of us may have had more than one slick :P -- Paul
So you're thinking his nickname is from a past Slick "life" and not an indicator of his current Slick?
That makes sense......

Cool! So Paul, do you have the mult-lamp Bronco fixtures behind the lenses as well? They are different and I like the look! :rocker:

It's a '66 factory F11 4x4. I just acquired it in Feb of 2012, but my truck before that was a '65 F-250 which I had since Mar of '86; hence the name here (and on everything else about me!). [album]Image[/album]

Barnietrk,
The assemblies are one piece, making it kinda hard to clean and polish the innards. I'm going to gently try to disassemble them; if not I've had fair luck with CLR household cleaner. Got to find or make a set for the StreetSweeper though!

Hope this hasn't stalled I was sure getting a lot of good ideas out of it. Suddenly find myself in the need of one ton inspiration, maybe dolled out one ton wreckers. To cold to work on anything, surfing for ideas.

Looks as if you have intentions of creating your own FD! Fill the tanker, bring the pumper, and ready for anything! And still be ready for the afternoon parade!

Guys, I know you all are proud of those slicks of yours, and rightfully so!

Here's mine as of today. A friend came over and helped me guide the engine/trans into it's hopefully final resting place.

This is the Rhino with a couple thousand pounds of pressure treated wooden lowering blocks in the back. There are also 4 80 lb bags of quickcrete you can't see in the picture.
