61 short, used to be parked next to the store i work at, owner came in a few weeks ago and i got his number and a price of $700
been busy and have not had time for a follow up, now today its on cl for 2x+ what he told me
my opinion just from the pics is $700 max
if i get time im going to call but im needing some other car and truck parts right now so even the 7 bills is tight.
personally for $500 id likely take it without a gripe

NADA qoutes do not impress me, and low book on this cannot be $6k in its present shape

Patches on the bed and cab indicate RUST on the torque box and likely in the floors as well. Key word here is "Rare", another clueless seller that when you explain the truth he will think your trying to screw him. I'd leave it be for a few months and contact him again, if he still has it offer 500.00. I personally am skeptical that this truck is worth more in its current condition. JMHO!

Typical seller. He gets one bite and think he has a gemstone. And the "rare" part really gets me. Clueless to the bone. I agree, leave it be and when he still has it in 5 months offer him $500. He'll counter at $1200 like he's Richard Rawlings or something. I can see the entire deal unfold as I type this and it makes me mad and I'm not even part of itl, hahaha

More than likely, after talking with Brian, he started doing searches and found all those get rich quick bone heads that search for rubes. They seem to appear everywhere,and have no clue how much work is involved in fixing a fifty year old truck.
