Hood Options

As you may already know , I recently purchased a uni. My question is , what types of aftermarket hoods are availible for these trucks(62 uni). I am looking for a steel cowl induction, but cant seem to find one. Does anyone else know?

Unless it's something new I'm not aware of, there aren't any steel hoods available through the aftermarket. There's some fiberglass hoods available, though.

Those hood and fender combo would give a pro streeted Slick a really cool look especially if the truck was lowered.

Dave, I am shocked.
Here you'd proven to me that the SBC was the best invention since the steam engine.
Better for all old Fords than Rotella T

Now, we just have to convince those idiots at Barrett-Jackson that Chev powered Shelbys are the way to go.

I have clearly stated that there is no reason to put a chevrolet motor in a 61 to 66 ford truck.

Unless a ford dont fit......

Simple solution. Redesign your truck so that it only fits a Chev engine, and Enjoy!!
Just a little major redesign, and you can enjoy cheap parts and inexpensive horespower!!

No i actually redesigned the front suspension in the uni to use a ford engine. If i wanted to use a Chevrolet i would have bought one, but alas they do not make a cammer. I assume this is a great oversight on the part of GM....
