My truck is going to get A/C in so I decided that I don't need the louvers in the cowl for fresh air. This was my weekend project to get done. I hope to have everything ready to go to paint sometime in March. Then I can get the truck assembled for final paint and final assembly.
Here are pics of my weeekend project.

My truck is going to get ac too, but I won't go that far as I will probably need the heater too. Should put a handle on there and make a tool storage area or a cooler for when we hang around the trucks inspecting them.

Great work!
Even with the nicest paint jobs that vent area underneath looks terrible because you can't prep it. Same problem on the back of VW bugs.
Any other body mods?

i could no longer keep "r.i.p.ing" all of our fallen brothers and sisters, so i say here, slick loads of love and much respect to all you beautiful people.
All the body mods are very slight. The A pillar posts are welded in, the back cab seam is welded and the gas tank hole is filled. The under side of the hood has every hole plated and filled to make it smooth as possible. When the cab forward gets done then I will start on the bed. It is going to get a roll pan installed with a bumper and the tailgate will be filled smooth with the handle probably put on the inside. I am going to fill the seam on the side of the 64 bed so that it has the same radius as the cab instead of the square seam where the 2 pieces were joined together. It only takes time (7 years so far). I have almost all of the parts, I just need the time to keep after it.

Very nice work. I believe someone mentioned that in a recent thread. Glad to see progress like that. I'm going to keep that in mind. We need finished pics when you're done.
