Power steering help needed

where can i find a kit to convert manual steering to power. i have a 2wd 352 f100 its a 65

it was a 3 on the tree but i put in a floor shift kit if that makes a diffrence i didnt change the tranny just the linkages

Pantech, I don't think the email worked. As I mentioned I am here in York Pa. The Mid Atlantic Chapter is having a get together at my place Saturday. You are invited if you would like to come. but since going to floor shift, then get a blank column which I mean a factory blank column with no shifter place on column and blank at the bottom so it would look factory even though its 3 speed still look a lot better than having shifter handles and arms or holes where arms went,, several ways to go about it like Wyatt said maybe somebody might know how to do it and of course meet and greet places like this,, you never know who might show up there that has done it before or give you some input just food for thought

my straight axle had an aftermarket pwr assist setup. I think its still sold but I have no clue if it could work with a twin I beam

I have seen posts on here about Toyota FJ boxes and others but I have no idea why a search wouldn't bring them up.

An integral 72 up Gran Torino box would be sweet but I have no clue if anyone has attempted such a swap or if its heavy duty enough

Best kit would be a 70's donor truck with a 360 or 390. It would give you power steering and power disc brakes.. Your neighbors, Wyatt and DV65customcablooooongbed, I bet would offer some great advise..

There is no "kit" because there is something better -- stock Ford parts that will bolt up as if it were orignal from the factory that way. No one can make money on a kit because knowlegable people realize that just finding Ford parts is the best way to go.

Get on over to www.fordification.com -- the 67-72 guys do this more than we do and Keith has lots of into about the swap. You need some donor parts, but if you do your research, you'll have a bolt up install that can be serviced as if it was a stock Ford product.

There is a Bendex unit that is a straight bolt on.No steering column welding or replacement needed.They have some leaking issues and have no road feel.I have one in the garage for sale if you are interested.
