It appears so. I talked to the guy last Monday night and he told me that he had a couple of folks coming on Tuesday to look at it. He told me that he paid $3000 for it about 10 years ago. He sent me some additional pictures of it and I figured I'd give it a week and it it hadn't sold, I'd go make him an offer. Guess someone thought that it was worth the money.

Red, have you considered building one?

I have. I drove down to Blairsville, Ga last Wed to pick up another cab (1966 f350) I have very solid '63 cab and the '66 f350 has the step in's too. 64 Ranger posted a pic of one a few weeks ago that looks like they used '57 - '60 door windows on the rear doors and made them full doors. I really liked this look. If I can't find a suitable build, I plan to just make my on. I also picked up a '94 F350 extended cab with a diesel engine in it last week for the drive train. I want to build a hauler BBBBAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDD...

I paid 4 grand for mine. It was in about the same shape. The floors and cab mounts were good. The cab corners and lower cowl drain area are rotten. It already had an updated drive train and axles.

I paid $700 for my M350...

I traded the original fenders off of my truck and some other parts for my extra-cab cab.

I found my other crew cab cab for really cheap (like I'm an a$$hole) cheap

I find em all the time all over the place.

Have all of you heard of this place...

It has the fuel tank moved under the bed and runs/drives reliably. 300 six 3 on the tree...
Gee not even any low ball shots?

I really like that one too. I would want less space between the doors though. I've been looking at those pics and wondering how they did the windows... The angles match up nice.

Looks like the seller and I have worked out the price on the Ford conversion crew. Suppose to pick it up on Friday! If so, pics to follow. I will be passing on the Crown conversion because of the rust. If anyone has any interest in it I can gather the info.

Good deal, Can't wait to see the pics. Is the Crown conversion in really bad shape?

In my opinion both are to rough but I don't come across them so I'm gonna work with what is available. I can work with the Ford. The Crown I would only use the cab and it will need floor, rocker, lower door, and drip rail repair. It is salvagable but it would be a bunch of welding and grinding and panel replacement. I've got two good cabs that I could merge together and make a crew with but I think it would be quicker to rebuild either of these trucks than to start from scratch even though you could then decide how you want it to look which would be a bonus.

And it was awesome that the weather cleared up because I was finally able to pick up this solid little bump that I bought over a month ago. Things to do! woohoo.gif

Shiny's crew is one of the coolest Slicks I have ever seen - bar none.

Plan is to build both of these. They both will be much much lower in the near future!

That doesn't look bad at all to me. Welcome to the Crew Crew. I need to buy a few more, to get ahead of Shiny....

How much was he asking for the grey one? If I recall his buildup, he pieced it together from like 5 slicks and painted it with rustoleum...

Good score Brian, Are you going to document the build in the Build and Projects area? Looking forward to seeing some progress. Red

Thanks Red. I plan to as long as you guys don't joke on me about how slow the process might be! Gotta finish a 66 first.

Thanks guys! Been looking for a few years and this is the best one I've found in a distance I would be willing to drive. The odd part is that it only wound up being about 45 miles from home.
