The dash turned out nice and look god in there too. I like the discs on your truck too, like Alan said they work good why your paint scheme.

no tom it doesn't work, the sender is bad. the next $100 I get will go towards that, then I need to replace the teeth in the speedo on the tranny since im 15 too fast. and get the shifting issue worked out. even a done truck isn't done.

just a few updates. I got a headliner and side pieces from the pick and pull. They were in pretty good shape, all the screw holes were intact and not too warped. Faded and stained were the bad parts of them.

I cleaned them up and applied some headliner material from Jo-Ann Fabric. it was specifically for headliners (black on one side, foam on the other). they had black, grey, tan, and an aqua green/blue? $14.99 a yard. I bought a small 14 inch strip as a trial for the side pieces. Used 3m general trim adhesive (08088) and they came out pretty good for $6. Im going to go back and get some for the overhead piece and the dome light piece. the shadow and flash make them appear poofy, but they aren't, I used a bondo blade to smooth them out and adhere them to the panel. don't use your fingers or knuckles as they will leave indentations

I also went put an ad on craigslist for a free seat and a got a call. it's out of an 87 F150. no headrests and brown. I plan on putting a basic black seat cover over it till i'm sure I know what I want it to look like. foam is great, springs are great. Finally I wont be sitting on springs, and foam wont fall out on the truck floor like the old seat did. Hard to beat free!

Gregg, see if you can get it without the foam backing!, it is easier to use, I`ll get a pic of the stuff I used!

i looked and it's all they had, they did have marine vinyl but that was too heavy and would probably pull down.

For the seat you could try some vinal die. If it doesn't work you can always go the seat cover rought.

made some progress on my headliner. I have the sides and top in place. None of the holes in my headliner matched the holed in the roof, so I got my sharp awl out and punched new holes in the headliner right where the CC trim screwed into to the roof. I did this along the side panels too. The result was a nice and secure headliner. Now I just need to buy some new finishing washers for the corners and the cover and install the back piece.

yeah, ive been thinking of putting in the 3pt belts. right now it's just 2 lap belts. just gotta get around to the buying of belts.

Thanks, I got lucky in finding this, and the PO was kind enough to work with me on timing and price, and help him out at the same time. I love it. Just freshen up the interior and modify the brakes a bit.

Might be picking up a 79 F100 frame and running gear. it's got a 302 and c4, power steering, disc brakes. Might be a good upgrade for my 66, and then take that 302 and c4 and put it in my unibody if the 292 doesn't want to run.

I finally got around to making the back dome light headliner piece. I had an NOS piece, but since I am covering it anyway, I traced the pattern on to fiberglass panel board and cut it out. next i'll cover it with the material and install.

Did you get the 79 for parts or to put 66 on frame? I did the 3 point seatbelts, good safety upgrade. Love the paint color-two tone.

nope, didn't buy the 79. this is just a standard drum brake single master cyl, and lap belts.
