I learned something using the visor, too. I am no longer skittish of the grinder wheel, and can use it more effectively.

I just looked at the updated post and was glad somebody said something. Long sleeves will help a lot as well,however make them tight so they do not get sucked up into the machinery
I still bear the scars on my left hand where a 4 inch grinder with a wire wheel caught an edge, and ran amok, on a two second job I tried doing without gloves.

Hi John, Looks to me like your cab is getting some TLC from you in a big way. I like how the wire wheel gets into the tight spots. My cab will be a challenge too, but first it needs some patching on the floor in a few places and then some dent removal in the back left corner. Are you still going to run the stock tank or move it out and mount one in the rear under the bed? I am closing up the filler hole because my chassis (74) has a rear tank already on it. Keep going John, it is looking good. Hope to see you at SS this year. TR

Yeah, looking much better.

I have had some of the wires get stuck in my arms, belly and chest.

Some scary stuff thinking one could go right into your eye.

Update
Her cab and front end pieces went to the painter yesterday. I bought Southern Polyurethanes' black epoxy primer that is UV resistant. It will go on the inside and underside of everything, as well as the outside.
Thanks to Pete in Georgia, I got a better fender than one I had, meaning that it wasn't dented as badly, so it will cost less to have the painter bondo it.
I have another 2 gallons of epoxy primer from Eastwood (total, paint plus hardener). I will attempt to paint the things that don't need UV resistance. Long story, but I got it on sale.
Primer is as far as I can go, though, she will have to go back together as is. The bed will also have to wait.
