just make sure the drip seals don't get clogged up especially the windshield cowl

and the next thing I knew it was in parts all over the place fixing!

I got my 64 4x4 with the intent of using it in the winter here. Well, it's winter here this week. Found out the front drive shaft hits the exhaust when going through a street intersection dip, so it is now in the shop to get the exhaust redone just below the manifold to clear the drive shaft. Picking it up in about an hour. 10F here and 6" snow with 20 mph winds. Supposed to get to -15F tonite.

Pat give his truck a trip to Jiffy lube to have it's grease zerks stroked

I use it , but I don't drive it in the mud
They rarely put salt out here on the roads I drive
Snow is just water....
Water does not make things rust
It's all that nasty dirt HOLDING water that causes corrosion

Ain't no jiffy lube goofball touching my truck
That's the great thing about a 4x4......
Enough clearance for a fat guy to get under
Grease gun & a 90# weight oil pump once a year

my 65 is parked for a while,about a quarter inch of ice on the ground and now its snowing like crazy!

I put mine up right after the Metro Cruise was over here in Grand Rapids, I have it stored for the winter now, I hope to get it back out in March or April. Already miss driving it, But I don"t miss cleaning it every time.

I have a few things that will need a little attention in the spring, but this will give me the time to plan it all out now. LOL

mine is being driven daily... rain, sleet snow and muck.... bring it on mother nature!!!

Supposed to put Dale's back together tomorrow. Doesn't sound like a good time for a trial run
Neither of us are in the mood to start over. Probably need to call and remind him to take it easy in his DD on the way to the shop

Friendswood Texas doesn't appear to be far enough south for me to retire to by the looks of that GT-500. I would be honored to be considered the next custodian of that GT-500. Up here The Man puts the sodium/brine solution (salt) on so heavy that after the storm and melt and dry up the streets and highways are still white when the solution dries like a fine powder, sitting there waiting for us. A trusted friend and car builder/painter told me he waits for 3 good rains in the spring before he brings anything out. We got about 2 inches last night, The Man has been by at least times spreading his salt this morning. Guess I should go sweep it off my driveway and sidewalks. Everything good has been put away for about a month now. Now is when I try to accomplish something on the projects (in the garage).

How would I be able to drive it if I put it away. Starts right up!

Sadly, I never got to put mine in storage before winter hit, and the roads had been salted. Not sure if I'll get it there, or if it's going to be in the way all winter. Would be nice to have it in storage soon, as my son and his fiance are moving in, and we'll have 4 cars in the drive, and one in the garage.

Mine is on daily driver status for the winter. Starts right up in the cold and goes great. We don't get much salt here.

Mine's parked for now. But i will use it if i have to haul or my backup if my rodeo breaks down. Tony Try to start her up once a week.
