I've got a rebuilt 292, .40 over with ECZ-G heads and intake. We're in the process of building a house, so the shop is filled with furniture. I'm trying to figure out how to get it done soon.

Any Idea of get together still happening...?

Hey TenStrings first let me say welcome to the site. Im up here a little north of Spokane. Anyway you might want to check the dates on the previous post as the last one on that get together was well over a year ago. Id sent the person that started the thread a pm and let them know your interest maybe they are planning another get together. Look under pic test in this form something was mentioned about a get together this year for 4x4s as well as all slicks in this area. You could also go into the members area and introduce yourself to the others. Welcome and enjoy lots of useful information on this web site. Also if you have any feel free to post pics in the projects area that might be a good place to introduce yourself too just a thought. Hope you have a great Easter Sunday.

OK, time to resurrect the thread. I would like to see who is interested in meeting in Newport Oregon in August. Possible August 20th. There is a restaurant called Flashback Fountain and Grill that might be a good destination. If there are more than two people interested we can make it happen.......

I would try to make it. I most likely would be on the Gold Wing tho. Are there any places to stay that are reasonable?

welcome Tenstrings....Looks like we are going ahead with the meet and greet. Flashback is a fountain and grill. Across the street is an excellent deli for sea food......trucks and food, what else......nice weather at the coast and all would be grand.

I'll check it out on Google. Do you have any recomendations? That would help. I'm thinking about coming down 97 then crossing over from Redmond. Trying to find a scenic route. Might as well see some country I haven't seen before.

I stayed at the Shiloh Inn before and was very happy. Your route sounds like a good one. Probably a lot different than Idaho.

oldtrucks....

If you come down 97, go to Bend then hit old Hwy 242..

It is a very twisty road...Real Pretty ride though...your coming on the Bike right...? On top it has A volcanic Flow, and Observation Tower built out of Lava Rock....

When you get to the west End of 242 you can go 2 ways to the coast...

Follow Hwy 126 over, and then back up, or do a little Back jog of 15 miles or so and hit Hwy 20 over to Corvallis, and then the Coast...All these are good rides and Nice on Bikes....:)

Flashback's address is 3333 S Coast HWY, South Beach, Oregon 97366
Phone number 541-867-6901. I thought about making reservations but am not sure how many will be able to attend. Between Flashback's and the Deli across the street I think we can cover everyone.

Pass the word...Flashback's August 21st 2:00. PASS THE WORD.
