I do believe that ICEMAN has us all beat for the most slicks.
Hear is my 9 1/2 year project, a 63 F100

It is finished but is still under construction.

CooGAR I have always loved your truck. Mine was supposed to have been black too but I changed my mind at the last minute when we mixed this color up. Our wheel and tire combo is identical. Mine are also Cragar S/S 15x8 with 275/60 Indy 500s. Difference is I have a mid 70s 31 spline 9" rear end which is 4" wider than the 66 rear end. My body is sitting on a 76 frame as well. I like the wider stance for both looks and handling
Well that explains it!
I've got 225/70s up front on 15x7s. Front stance looks fine, but from the rear, it really looks like those tires need to be pushed out some.

COME ON MATT!

No, I got a set of Wheel Vintiques Steelies amd 48/9 FORD centers.. They are going to be painted black, and plan on running my 235's that are on the truck now up front on the 7's and buying a set of 275 60's for the 8's on the back... I am trying to sell these aluminum ones if anybody is interested. They are like new , just not my style...

I bought a 1979 truck and did a frame swap. I powder coated the entire frame and everything underneath, bought a 351 cleveland with 4 barrel heads and rebuilt a C4 trans.
Still looks like an old truck but everything underneath is new. Dakota digital guages inside, along with all new wiring, and completely restored 65 mustang bucket seats. Paint and body next. Front of bed and back of cab need to both come up about 1/2"-3/4".
Bought this 66 SWB last weekend. My first slick was a 64 short wide. I wanted another short wide and found this one not too far from home. Looks better in the pic than up close. Needed a new home
