I got my welding sealing and undercoationg done on the bottom of the bed.. Finally the bed is ready to be bolted on forever....

I painted the front of my bed, all bolted on the truck, and fuel filler is funtional. :dancing:

I'm going to do a couple little thing to the truck and I may take it to a little show just down the road from me.

After the show it is engine swap time... :cry:

Getting some done finally.. Engine gets swapped this week... I hope

In the winter, Kelly drives the route depicted in this season's "Ice Road Truckers" - airing Sunday at 9 p.m. - and in the summer, she runs out of Wasilla.

Not quite yet.. I want to go through the steering, suspension, and the interior.. I still have a real nice floor pan to install... :D


Well I finished up the engine swap and ran the engine pretty much all afternoon. I even took a couple short (no regisration yet) rides up the road and WOW this " new engine seems to run great. What a little screamer!!! I'm thinking the 4 barrel made most the difference..

Next little project will be modifying a air cleaner.. I grabbed one off the studebaker at our farm... It is tall and slender, just the way I like 'em!!! I need to cut it down a bit or cut a hole in the hood.. :lol:

That is sweet!! Have you thought of using an old dog dish hub cap for the top of the breather?

I really think these look cool. I like the original oil bath also, I am going to need something for mine when she gets on the road. Right now I have nothing. Just ideas..... Anthony

Yeah sure have.. Yours looks cool and have seen another that looked good also.... I'm gonna try the studebaker oil bath first.. I would also like to try to get my vent hose hooked up...
