But yea I'm keeping all the stock parts in boxes, except the TRX's cause those aren't original.

Don't you realize that, for that price, you can buy SIXTY nice used Pintos. Surely, if you keep them long enough, some of them should grow up to be mustangs.

I think the average person who wants a Mustang (or something like it) won't be buying new. There are of course other people with money who want brand new and don't care about the cost, or those willing to go into debt.

Looking at the specs tho, from a power/handling perspective there doesn't look to be much incentive to buy new or even slightly used. The power to weight ratios are better in the newer cars, but when you can throw a few power/suspension mods on an '87 GT and get the same results for the same or less money, the only decision is in what styling you prefer.

That's just comparing Mustangs though. If you go outside that I can't compare as I'm a Ford guy.

I think the appeal of the Mustang is the V8, manual, RWD, which has gotten rare since the 80's. The RWD's are coming back though, so we should have some more options soon.

ive seen that video before, thats a nice sounding engine, my cam specs arent too much different than his, I have a bit smaller lift but more duration. cant wait to hear how mine sounds compared to this
