Signs Recession ’07 will end in ‘09

-Light at the end of the tunnel will get turned back on.

-Rush hour traffic jams will go back to being an hour instead of 30 minutes.

-Mothers in Ethiopia will stop reminding their children they must eat all their dinner because kids in America are starving.

-A half gallon of ice cream will actually become a half gallon of ice cream again, not 1.75 quarts. YOU RAT BASTARDS!!

-Ponzi schemes will be all the rage.

-Gas prices will really follow the Law of Supply and Demand and not some OPEC goofball.

-Economists won't be on talk shows anymore and will have to file for Unemployment.

"Percentage of a Fraction = Metric"

Not sure if it occured in the southern Hemisphere or not, but the Food Industry in the US decided in spring 2008 to make food packages smaller rather than raise prices. Then this year the prices for these smaller packages then went up. Very few items from the store are what they used to be. So we now have percentages of fractions to help make shopping easy.

Used to be able to buy a pound of bacon for $2.59. Then that pound became 12 oz, but still cost $2.59. Now, with the price increases, I get to pay $2.79 for 12 oz of bacon if I want any!!

Same thing with a pound of sausage!!

Everything is going up in price and down in quantity...
