Call me Crazy...

...I sold my perfectly good running truck for project cars. I think I'm a glutton for punishment...

But I got more for my Slick than I paid for the cars, so I have some cash to get started with!
Now if I sell the Rambler, I'm really on my way.

They are pretty solid.. no real rust, well preserved with most all the parts/panels there and straight)
#1 loaded up for the trip home, all original, with flathead v8, 3 speed and the banjo rear. (I cropped out my 2001 S10 that towed it home.)

#2 awaiting pickup, with a 302, auto trans and a 9" out the back.

We stuck wheels on the first car and it rolled... no grindin pulling nothing, the motor still has the plugs in it, and a carb on it (the whole thins was wrapped up too to keep it clean from the elements... I hope it'll turn over with just a little bit of love.

I pick up #2 in the morning..

And Thanks to Nick64Slick for his help with hauling these damn things.

They are 1946 Fords, one has a '47 title, but Jan/Feb of 1947 they were still selling the '46 cars and titling them as '47s. They both have the '46 trim (ribbed stainless and the small bead around the windows) Although there appears to be some 47 sheet metal on the front of the #2 car (or they shaved the blinker holes)

The owner has one title for sure, he's digging through records for the second, but has provided bill of sale paperwork etc.

If he cant find it I may have to go buy some 'historical documents' and a set of letter & # punches....

Always liked 46-48 fords. Dad had a 46 coupe that was one of the best cars he ever owned.
