Slick 60's

my passenger door is catching the front fender near the bottom half of the door. do i adjust the door or fender?

Did this just start or are you putting it back together from a rebuild? Bad cab mounts will make the door rub usually at the top of the fender.

I just learned something interesting about this clearance alignment.
FYI
The hole in the frame that the core support mounts in is slotted and lets you move the inner fender front to rear for alignment.
I'm going to do a little write up when I replace the sheet metal on Nadine and I'll take pictures.
But in the mean time, be aware that the outer fender mounts to the inner so your adjustment has to be with the core support and inners.
Er ahhhhh, does this make any sense to anyone but me???

I'm with you on that Skip. I will keep this in mind when I do the front clip on Big Betty.

i believe it started on its own i haven't done anything to it.

i looked and the rear bottom of thr front fender is loose and can move in and out a little. there is a bolt on the inside of the fender inside the wheelwell that feels like it isn't catching on anything.

That is exactly where we made an adjustment when putting Spanky's truck back together. Bolt everything up but leave them loose, then start adjusting and tightening. Door was rubbing on lower front fender until we got everything adjusted.

That explains it. When we put the front clip back on Little Black, the driver's side fender rubbed the door. We adjusted the door.
There's way more to putting one back together than you realize.
