I've been away from this site for a long time. Was wondering about the whereabouts of Dave Garber, a.k.a. "Garbz". He was very generous with his time and spare parts when my son was working on his '65. My son has since been away in the Army working as an EOD putting his project on hold. I know Dave was a frequent contributor to this site, but I haven't seen posts about or by him for a long time. My son was curious and I told him I'd ask.

Dave, " Garbz", left about 18 months ago!, after a disagreement. I hope he`ll come back one day!.

Thanks, Alan. I was afraid that I might be opening a can of worms. As i said, he was very generous to a young kid with an old truck.

I believe Garbz is on the FTE forum.. I see him posting quite a bit there. I think this one is actually quite recent.

Garbz was a mentor to me as well. He's lurking over at FTE, which is disappointing, but it's his choice.

I can't stand the constant barrage of incorrect information over there , almost every time I log on , it just overwhelms me as to where to start correcting them.
So, I only go there sparingly, and always limit myself to only one post when I go, there is just no way to right all the wrongs over there.
Garbz goes on and tries to help, him and Dwight, and John Da picker are some of the small handful of knowledgeable ones over there.
