Hi, All
It's been a long time from my last post, I had a lot of back and neck problems but it's gotten better now.
So I have found a 82 I-6 engine and 4speed stick trans. I would like to put this in my 66 truck. What would I need to do to get rid of all of the pollution junk and will I still be able to to use the carb that it has on it or will I need to get another one. Also will I have to change the dist. and use points or what?
':?'

I will try to get photo's later and I will try to post new photo's of my 66 slick

Thanks for all of your help

Elwood

Keep the electronic ignition. Take the '82 wiring harness apart and keep the ignition part of it, bolt the box on the driver's side fender liner.
What engine/trans did your Slick have in it? If it was a six, the '82 should drop right in.
