Some Pics of Pate

Post by Max »

Just a few snaps. I either want to just take pics or just browse the goodies and gets tiring to do both. The other guys should post their pics soon.

Very nice! Were you shooting in HDR or did you achieve the effect with some post-processing? I really like the ones of the fuel pumps.

Thanks for the pics Max. Saw a few things I missed, like the pretty red slick. I see you got a pic of my Uni tail piece that you guys found. I thought the dog dish clock was a great idea.
If you guys weren't there you missed a great time. I came back full of enthusiasm to get going on my slick(s). Got in last night about 7:30 butt-sprung after a six hour drive and in the garage by 8.

He almost didn't get it, he couldn't find it while driving around. He was all ready to drive away from that $5 investment. I did some quick walking and found it :D

Not sure what you mean Alan. The pic with the gas pump in it? That thing in front of it looked like an old lamp shade.

Yes, you guys should plan on it. I drive 600 plus miles (round trip) each year to attend. The only problem is that if you want to reserve a space inside to sell or park your vehicle should reserve one ASAP. Spots are only $30 each and they sell out quick!.
We left money with Chris W. (PFM6466) to reserve our spaces for next year. We had 22 spots this year, up from 16 last year. There's always room for members to drop by and visit, sit in the shade, swap stories and "lies". I think we wind up selling most of the stuff we bring to the other members :-).

What's PATE???

is that like that show where those 2 guys run around the country with a boat load of cash in their pocket, offering way to much for crap, so the price of crap keeps going up so us regular Joe's can't buy good crap any more?

yes I was working for a living, Again!
why all of you smiling faces where out there, visiting, eat'n, drink'n and buying crap

Are you serious? I thought everyone in Texas (at least) knows about the Pate Swap Meet aka as the "World's Largest Movable Junkyard", held annually (end of April) in the parking lot of the Texas Motor Speedway. This year was the 38th year. Here's a link: www.pateswapmeet.com

Oh, ol' RatMike knows about Pate. He just can't make it each year because he has to steer the big ship everytime it's going on. But that's alright. He doesn't need more crap and the crap he buys is all chromed and shiny anyway. Besides, he misses Pate so he can make it to the Big Dance in Iowa!!!
