ok, back when cars had big external sun visors in the forties and fifties they made refractive lenses that went on the dash so you could see the stop light without having to crane your neck up to see the light.
what the hell are those things called?
i could use one. there are several stop lights in my area that are sensor controlled and when i get close enough to trip the sensor i cannot see the light without having to look almost straight up through the windshield.
is this making sense???? lol

Funny post - I have the same issue in my Jeep every now and then but cool thing is the light reflects off of the hood/windshield so I don't even have to crane my neck to look directly at the light.

Actually, my hood is red too! Forgot to mention a small detail... only works at night. During the daytime, I just stop further from the light. Ahem.
