I was at my friends wrecking yard (it helps to have friends in high places) pulling parts off of the 66 F100 I got last month. I am "positioning" to start building up the 65 F100 4x4. As I took a break I realized that I had the 66 F100 daily drive that got me to the yard, the 66 F100 I was stripping, the 66 F250 out in the yard and the 65 F100 4x4 that was in the initial build up phase. I thought that was a little overwhelming for one old boy all at once. Talk about being blessed. As I drove home I spotted a 66 F100 that had been pulled out from behind a guys garage and had a for sale sign in it. No one was home but there is always tomorrow. If being addicted is wanting more and needing more to have the same effect I think I am there. As I write this I know of two more that might need to be "aquired". In the name of Slick preservation I guess I just have to save them. I wonder if my wife would buy the preservation angle?????????probably better off with the addiction, I can tell her I am cutting back, at least as long as my buddy with the wrecking yard has room. :D

i know the fellin .i see em i buy em.so ive learned to shut my eyes when ever im drivin thru the sticks out here in sw washington .( you might want to be on the lookout for me as i have been known to take out the odd fence post/tree/chevy)

slicks are all over the place around here.and people are just about givin em away(fools) so i bought 15 acres and have proceded to fill it with fords.

my wife and i have a dont ask dont tell relationship.she doesnt ask me if she can buy more fabric and i dont tell her about my new toys. she walked down to the barn a few weeks ago and was supriesed to find my new uni and a 73 f100 4x4 and a 67 mustang that she hadnt seen yet.

so she went on a interstate shopping spree. ouch.

Ayatollah

I think our wives might be related. That sounds very similar to the way things work in our household. Scary 8)

so many slicks, so little time.
3 4x4s running, 2 more in construction, a uni and a 64 fairlane too.cant tell you how many times the wife has complained about the whiplash suffered from my hasty turns into anyplace i see a slick.she thinks i have some gift (not the word she uses)for seeing, smelling or otherwise locating old fords.
and hey i even completed the 12 step program, when i accumulated over 12 slicks.

ADDICTED

WHEN THE BETTER HALF AND ME GO SOME WHERE I ALL WAYS RIDE SHOTGUN SCANNING SIDE TO SIDE. NOT LONG AFTER WE MET SHE WAS DRIVING AND I WAS DOING MY LITTLE SIDE TO SIDE SHE ASK IF I WAS LOOKING A WOMEN. LOL I REPLIED " NO YOU CANT FIND NOS PARTS ANY MORE AND THE COST TO MUCH TO RESTORE." THEN SHE SAID "MOST MEN CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH DEFECTIVE PARTS." I GUESS YOU COULD SAY RELATIONSHIP. :D :D

once you have planted a few in your yard the rest will come on their own because of it.
i counted yesterday, have the bakers dozen right now.(13). mind you that only counts the 61-66s.
