Tracy, I think they have it mixed up. Thats a tear drop camper. For those who don't know theres the tear drop type like this, They are tear shaped and small. Then there is the cabin car, they are the next size. They are about 4 ft longer and maybe a ft taller. Then there is the canned ham campers. They are called that because they have a shape like a canned ham. Hey tracy if you know of someone or where there is a old camper no longer than 18 feet thats in bad condition let me know. I want one to redo. I want it to match my slick.

I sold a 64, 14 ft, not a Scotty, but looked just like it. Can't remember the brand, but I know you had mentioned it before, Willy. Wouida been perfect for you. Pulled it around the country with a 223, three on the tree.

NOW THAT IS HILARIOUS!!
Problem is the truck is BUTT UGLY
Payback yes.. would I drive it no.
Merle tells me his next project is to slip a Ford drivetrain in a 55 Chebby.
I like the 55 Ford so much better than the 55 Chebby... i get what Merle is doing but I think them cars is UUUUUuuuuglyyyy.
If I was to do that.. I think I'd try a 427 Windsor Stroker Roush Crate Motor in a '65 Stingray. That would learn them Chebby boys, when they ask what is that?... just smile and say... 427...?!

Not a win win situation at all. I just sold a 57 Chevy 3100 that my grandad bought new. I wanted so bad to hot rod it and drop a 460 in it. Had the truck for over 20 years and never could bring myself to do anything to it. Finally sold it to a guy in MA, his driver is picking it up this afternoon.castruck_1964 wrote:Thats one way to stand out in the crowd.
But you won't win any popularity contests with that truck.
TheChebby guys will![]()
hate you for having a real motor and the ford guys won't like you for wasting a good motor on Chebby tin.
