Hey Spanky - I'm in Houston too. Gonna turn my '65 from black to red one day. Who's doing your paint job?

It's Kings Paint and Body Shop on 6029 Allendale. phone 713-641-1035. The guys name is Chris. They did a prettty good job for what I paid I'm very happy about it. It was very hard to find anyone who would even touch it at all! And the ballpark numbers from those who would do it ranged from 3,000- well over 6,000 dollars! So yes I'm very happy with my 1,200 dollar paint job! lol :D I will add pictures asap!! I've just been very busy lately so couldn't get'em on the site.

WOW, that looks great!! That paint laid out real nice and that is a great color!! A skiny set of trim rings would look great on those wheels..

Looks great!

If you're planning to paint the F O R D on the tailgate, I just found a company that sells vinyl letters. I put them on last night and it is a night and day difference. Unless you're 6" away, you can't tell they aren't paint.

Thanks guys. It's funny you mention that Jason, I was just talking about the trim rings yesterday afternoon. lol I wasn't sure what to do with the rims, i hope the trim rings will make it look better! Also I'm going to chrome the front bumper and put a chrome rear bumper on in the not so distant future. Thanks Big Mike for the link that looks great on your truck! I think I'll pick me up a set as well. 8)

Looks very nice! I'm envious.

I think Carolina classics sell those F O R D decals as well. $15 or so last time I checked.

Thanks. The interior was already painted when I bought the truck so that was a nice bonus! I will do just a few touch ups here and there on the paint that need it but overall I'm very happy with it.
