Pump brackets are not too tough to find for FE's. They fit 65-69 trucks. There are two different kinds though, the trucks with AC use brackets with a built in AC idler pulley. Hawkrod

Got a question, Got another bracket set up that positions the pump lower on the engine with no place for ac idler pulley. Any ideas on that one?I can get pics later of it .

Looks like you didn't have to bend the shift levers. Did you have to shorten the steering column?

No that's the beauty of doing the bendix box , but I recommend getting the correct shaft for the bendix which is about 5/8" shorter than the manual steering shaft.Everything else stays . While I was into the column, I redone the shifter with a better tube and collar and took all the slop out of it.

ahhh... I forgot about the Bendix being smaller. I just mounted a Saginaw box and will tackle the column next. I'll need to shorten it and I guess bend the shift levers to accomodate the shorter shaft. Glad to know that the conversion is worth it.

If you can find a 69-76? 3sp column shift steering column, they're set up for the saginaw gear. Then just change the dash bracket or add some spacers and your set.
