Make your own dashpad at home!

I finally got around to making my dash pad,

I first wax the dash were I was going to lay the fibre glass and a little bit further,I used bees wax,two good coats ,

I bought 1kg of polyerster resin and catalyst,
enough fibreglass mat to give it to coats,

This is it after it had dried overnight

This is after I removed it from the dash.

All trimmed to fit .

Now after a few hours of sanding body filler to get it smooth ,

I used 3mm closed cell foam them used vinyl to finish it,the colour is wedgewood blue,

Finished

Thanks guy's for the kind words.I even surprised myself how well it came up ,I'm pretty chuffed about it.

Now Bill, if only you could get your hands on a R/hand drive one and graft the two together!, and make a dual handed dash!, I`d reckon you could make a Motza on them!
