I need help

I've been surfing the web looking for a single speed ? - 5 pin wiper switch.

My switch blew apart a some point and I didnt notice, therefore all the guts are gone.

I need a new one

Can someone help me here ?

I have to make sure I get the correct pin locations

Why are they so hard to find.

What would you be looking at... for price.

It came out of my '63 so it is correct.
I'll try to shoot you a picture or two tomorrow when I go back to the shop.

My 1963 switch only has 4 pins on the switch.
Are you sure you're looking for the right one?
I'll post a picture tonight.
Personally, I'd look for a later model two speed with a delay module. Lots of info in hints and tricks.

I have owned my truck for 30 + years and still learning

I am confused, my truck has a 5 pin wiper switch and from what I have read so far, this switch is for a single speed motor.

I stripped a 63 ford unibody donor truck years ago (maybe it was not a 63, but it was a unibody and they only made those for 2 years if memory serves me correctly)
The switch on that truck is a 3 pin


Therefore my problem is this...

To me common sense tells me that 3 pin would be for single speed and 5 pin for 2 speed wiper control.

This is my question to you, I need clarification

FYI - my truck is a 63 unibody / custom cab edition

3 pin from 63-64 donor truck

5 pin from my 63 f 100 unibody "custom cab'

Is the other pins for the washer bottle.

I have a foot operated pump for the windshield washer fluid

Holy crap Paul I think you've just awakened the past

sorry for the language, but as previously mentioned i've owned this truck for over 30 years

- at one point I swapped out my washer fluid container and all components for the other system that was in the donor truck, which consists of a bag for the fluid and a foot pump on the floor of the cab

I must have done this cause the pump for the fluid had stopped functioning but I still had functioning wipers (this swap was done over 20 years ago.. It just came back to me now




But I still need a to know if it was a single or two speed wiper system

... and I still need a 5 pin switch
