Slick 60's

Hello all,
I am new to the site but I have had about six Slicks from 63 to 66. Currently I have a 66 F250 4X4. I have always wanted a 4x4 so I bought one from Northern AZ. I am in the Navy and located in Yuma, Az (assigned to the Marines). I will post pics soon. The truck is currently being painted a 1966 Acadean Blue. The body is almost perfect, just has minor holes from screws and ranch modifications. I enjoy all of the topics as well as the hints. Thanks to you all.

You have no idea how bad I want to ask which aicraft carrier sails out of Yuma. But that would be me being a dang forner agin.

Welcome Aboard sailor, you will like this crew they are a great bunch of folks here at Slick 60's
Sounds like you'll fit right in with your collection of rolling stock too. There is a wealth of knowledge here and some outrageous Slicks also.


BTW JC When it's the U.S. NAVY we sail our carriers anywhere they must go & Back and fly our aircraft anywhere we have to & Back. In Fact, Tom Catters would fly Gasoline into hell if somebody gave them the coordinates and catted the bird off waist deck.

I thank them for their duty and committment with a sharp Salute of honor to all.

Since the Marines fall under the Department of the Navy, they follow similar protocols. Since both services operate some of the same aircraft and helicopter types - inter-service assignments can be common sometimes.

You may not see a carrier find Yuma, but I guarantee the birds at Yuma can find a carrier.

This was on eGouge about this time last year & going from memory, was in northern Arizona. It was either a one owner truck, or a one family truck, I forget which.

That is the truck I bought! Can you e-mail me those pics??? (good2bea9@yahoo.com) The truck looks very different now, the enterior was sprayed with Linex as was the inner fenders and both sides of the fender wells as well as the core support. After the paint is completed it will be an all new truck with all new rubber, seals and such. I will post pics soon.
